Superb Print Quality

All prints are on professional, Kodak Endura professional archival photographic paper with your choice of Lustre, Glossy, or Metallic finish [see below for recommendations on choosing finish]. Kodak Endura paper is rated for 100 years in typical home display, 200 years in dark storage, and 1 to 5 years for commercial display.

To ensure the highest possible quality, I’ve come to rely on one of the nation’s leading professional photographic print labs where they use the latest, state-of-the-art digital photographic printers. I’ve been dealing with them for several years, and their quality and reliability is second to none.

Print borders

All prints are unframed. Because of the difficulties of reliably shipping large frames with glass, I recommend you contact a local, professional framing shop for framing options and expert recommendations. To aid in framing, prints include a ¼ inch white border around all edges. Other options, including edge-to-edge printing or a larger border are also possible; please contact me directly if you require a different option. In most cases, mounted prints do not have a border and are printed edge-to-edge.

Finishing Services

Full finishing services, including mounting on foamboard, canvas, Gatorfoam, or as a standout, are available, as are other options for commercial display. Please contact me for pricing and further information.

Shipping

There is a flat rate 2-Day UPS shipping fee of $10 for unmounted prints to destinations within the continental United States; please contact me for international or other out-of-area shipping prices. Prints are carefully packaged to ensure your print arrives in pristine condition.

Choosing a Paper Type: Lustre vs Glossy vs Metallic

Choosing a paper surface comes down to a combination of personal preference and environmental factors of where you plan to display the photograph. For my own personal prints, I prefer Lustre finish in most circumstances. It provides deep, rich, and accurate colors with less of the light reflection that comes with Glossy finish. Glossy finish creates the striking impression of slightly richer colors and deeper blacks, but the surface of the paper reflects light, so if the image is to be displayed in an area with bright lighting or multiple light sources, I generally recommend Lustre finish. Metallic finish is a relatively new option that enhances bold, intense, vibrant colors.
