Ever wondered how to take screenshots on your iPhone or iTouch? I was surprised to find that it’s actually incredibly easy. No fancy app, emulators, or coding required. If you plan on making lots of money from people selling apps, it makes sense to make it as easy as possible for the app developers to show off their shiny wares in all its pixel-perfect glory.
- Hold down the power button on top briefly. Not too long, or it’ll power off.
- While holding down that button, press the home button (the only button on the front of the phone). The screen with shimmer and you’ll hear the shutter sound.
- Find your new screenshot by going to Camera Roll in the camera app. It’s now just any other photo that you can email, send via MMS, or download when connected to iTunes.
