Finding a travel tripod that perfectly balances packed weight with rock-solid stability is tough. After extensive field testing, here is my hands-on review of the Sirui T-1204SK carbon fiber tripod, including how its twist locks hold up in real-world conditions.
The Sirui W-2204 carbon fiber tripod has a distinctive feature: it's waterproof. A happy side-effect of that is that it's also protected against sand and grit.
As part of my ongoing series trying to find the best travel tripods available, I put the Sirui T-2205X to the test.
Finding a monopod that is small enough to travel with, yet strong enough to hold a 600mm lens, is difficult. I bought the Sirui P-326 over a decade ago, and here's my long-term review on how it has held up.
My name is David Coleman, and this is my site. I take photos for a living. Seven continents. Dozens of countries. Up mountains. Underwater. And a bunch of places in between. I'm based in Washington, D.C.
This site is where I post practical photography help, tips, and troubleshooting.
All posts and reviews on this site are written by me. And I only review gear with which I have personal hands-on experience. By a photographer, for photographers. More about me.
